Holy Springtime, Batman!

Things are growing! I have to tell y'all, I have got to start hitting the gym in the winter because the first few weeks of spring greenhouse, high tunnel, and vegetable field about whooped me.

This spring has had a few major setbacks in store for the farm, but we've bounced back each time better than before. From losing 1,500 greenhouse plants to a frost, to a zucchini crop failure, the CSA is still on track. Thank goodness for backup crops and good friends!

Just a reminder: The first CSA delivery of the season is next Thursday, May 14th.

We have a new bi-weekly option available this year, as well as new payment options. The bi-weekly share option is $320 for 11 deliveries, and includes at least $30 of produce per delivery, which is roughly 1.5x the amount of a weekly share. The regular share option (previously called half-share) is still $385 and at least $20 of produce per week.

There is still time to sign up- just visit our sign-up page. If you have questions or are unsure if the CSA is a good fit for you, feel free to message me or visit our CSA FAQ page by clicking HERE. I'm always glad to answer questions or work with you if none of the share options suit your needs!

I know you guys always like to see farm pics, so I'll finish my spring update with a gallery for you!

One of my cows, Bella, had the cutest little calf this spring. It's a bull so unfortunately I can't get attached to it, but isn't he just the cutest little fella ever?? He was actually a twin but unfortunately the twin didn't make it. Bella decided to start off our calving season by giving us a scare and requiring a vet visit, but she's okay and so is the little fella!
